Lurking the Craigslist website I stumbled upon this ad., and was intrigued by the cost and the optional draping. First off, this was strictly therapeutic, no hint of anything more. Now for the quality of massage I received the price cannot be beat. I arrived and was let in by a tall, fit lady who works out of her own home; I believe she is married with kids. She has a massage/office room so no sensuality here. I got undressed and laid face down on the comfy table and received a wonderful salt scrub while enjoying good conversation. After that I showered and came back for a very thorough and relaxing Swedish massage. Again, this was completely undraped and I was HOPING a little graze would signal me, but alas it never came.
I did receive a full 2 hours for 70 dollars, I left a 20 dollar tip for and excellent massage and conversation. So, for 90 bucks I left feeling great and not light in the pocket. If you guys want a nice legit massage from a legit provider for bargain prices, this is a no brainer.

Generally speaking, with a therapeutic only massage, a tip of 20% is standard industry practice and expectation.

When I get a good massage at a very low price for the amount of time, I base the tip on the cost on what I would pay at a standard salon. Generally $1 per minute on average.

$70 for 2 hours of a great massage is very low.

By the standard I use, I would give her at least $24 (120 minutes = $120 x 20%)= $24.

If it was as good a massage as you feel it was for you, my tip would have been at least $30 but probably $40. My total bill w/$40 tip...$110 for a great 2 hour massage and salt scrub. Very well worth it.
